5—EDGAR
If you want detailed financial information on a company, and you can't find it anywhere else, see EDGAR (the government's Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system Database). Almost all corporations are required by law to file financial results electronically, and this is where the government posts them. You can retrieve publicly available filings submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission from January 1994 to the present. EDGAR filings are posted to this site 24 hours after the date of filing. If you know the company you want, follow the directions to download its financial reports.
