5—Wild Yeast? AKA Sourdough
Do you know about Sourdough Bread? It's made with a starter dough that is basically a bit of dough left over from bread made previously. The starter has live yeast in it that will make a new dough rise, but it also develops a "sour" flavor, one that many people like. Sourdough bread has always been a favorite in San Francisco and now it's becoming popular in a lot of other places.
