5—Piranhas
In the "Tupi" language of the Amazon Natives, "pira" means fish and "ranha" means teeth. Piranhas are found in the tropical rain forest of South America. Although they have been known to reduce a large mammal to a skeleton very quickly, this is extremely rare. Their diet consists primarily of other fish but also includes birds, amphibians and mammals.
